Lake Holcombe School honored veterans today with a Veteran's Day program. The featured speaker was Wisconsin Army National Guard Sergeant Nick Kostka. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the kindergarten class and music performed by the MS/HS choir & HS band. Thank you to Veterans for their service to our country. 💗🤍💙

The high school advisory team has some big goals for the school year. The students themselves brainstormed things they want to work on and are now putting into action some of the things they came up with. Yesterday, the “nutrition subcommittee” of the advisory team met with Mrs. Linskey to collaborate on ideas for food options in school. Other themes the team has chosen to focus on include: kindness, belonging, substance use and mental health. Stay tuned for our new kindness E-wall and a fun speaker for all students 4K-12!
Did you know one out of every twenty preschoolers and one out of every four school age children has a vision problem that needs the attention of an eye care professional? Vision problems can negatively impact a child's performance at school (difficulty seeing things far away or close up, headaches, difficulty paying attention, etc.).
The Lions Club will be here on November 19th to do vision screening for 4K, K, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10th grades. Consent forms will be sent home with your child or you can find it here ----> https://5il.co/30leo. Please return to school no later than Friday, November 15th.

Thank you, Flambeau! An inspiring display of unity and compassion, the Flambeau football team hosted a tailgate for Chloe and the Lee family.
This gesture transcends the boundaries of sports, showing the important things beyond the field. . Before both teams take the field to compete, they are setting aside rivalry for a moment to rally around Chloe, demonstrating the power of community and solidarity.
