Thank you to everyone who helped with the process of securing a new principal. He has big shoes to fill. Again, congratulations to Mr. Porter on your retirement and thank you for your 21 years of leadership. The board conducted final interviews of the three candidates last night. The board unanimously passed a motion to offer a contract to Chris Stalheim. Chris is currently the assistant principal (3 years) at Black River Falls High School. Chris comes to us with 25+years of experience in public education in the Blair-Taylor and Black River Falls School Districts. He has Bachelors, Masters, and Specialist degrees from Winona State University. He was a middle and high school Science, Chemistry and Physics teacher, Technology Integrator, and had some experience as a Library Media Specialist prior to becoming an Assistant Principal. Please give Chris Stalheim a warm Lake Holcombe welcome! Thank You!
